Professional Civil Engineer/ Technologist

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready to lead impactful municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects?

Our client is an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing professional engineering and project management services across a range of infrastructure sectors. They are currently looking for an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professionally registered engineer with strong municipal water and wastewater experience to lead projects across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction, commissioning and close-out.

Requirements

• Preferably 10+ years’ relevant experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure
• Education : BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong experience in bulk water, pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations and sewer infrastructure
• Experience with potable water and wastewater treatment works
• Professionally registered with ECSA as a PrEng or PrTechEng

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Design and review water and wastewater treatment works, bulk water and sewer infrastructure, networks, reservoirs and pump stations
• Undertake hydraulic assessments and coordinate civil, hydraulic and treatment process requirements
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
• Coordinate multidisciplinary civil, process, mechanical and electrical engineering inputs
