Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an established local leader in the building construction industry whose business is built on the pillars of professionalism, quality and integrity. They currently hold a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team of experts in Worcester.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare estimates and cost plans
• Manage and guide project staff
• Measurement and certification of project work
• Cash flow management and financial control
• Appoint sub-contractors
• Process, submitt and evaluate project claims
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements
• Maintain accurate records and reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS ELY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.

• BSc (QS), BTech (QS), NDip (QS), or equivalent
• Experience in BuildSmart will be advantageous
• At least 10 years experience in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Projects and QTO in CCS Candy
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• National Senior Certificate
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English
