Draughting Office Supervisor is required for a Consulting Engineering company based in Secunda. Minimum 15 years of working experience in engineering design draughting of concrete and steel structuress. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit or MicroStation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 15 - 20 years' experience in engineering design draughting of concrete and steel structures
- Revit, Autodesk Advanced and Bently
- Previous working experience of draughting in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power Generation Plants)
- Proven track record of managing a draughting team
- Draughting or technical diploma (advantage)
- Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Responsible for all draughting personnel, draughting projects priority planning, draughting IT resources and day-to-day running of the drawing office
- Provide guidance, support and internal training to draughting team
- Organises, plans, and maintains documentation of drawings, submittals, and schedules
- Supports engineering and design teams by managing drawing distribution and verifies accuracy and completeness of finished drawings
- Collaborates with engineers to convert engineering designs into detailed drawings and layouts, calculate dimensions and material requirements, using CAD software
- 3D modelling and the creation of construction drawings. Including detecting and reporting clashes or constructability issues
- Effectively and efficiently plan, organise, and handle draughting activities, including the elimination of unnecessary rework
- Ensure that the project drawings meet quality standards and customer requirements
- Developing and implementing draughting policies, procedures, workflows, and implementing industry trends
