Part-Time Lecturer: Foundation Phase (Sessional Worker)

Emeris (Ruimsig) has a vacancy for a Part-time Foundation Phase Lecturer

in the following module:

• Foundation Phase Didactic Module/s

Key Performance Areas

• Deliver engaging lectures that facilitate student learning
• Prepare lesson materials aligned with module outcomes
• Administer and mark assessments
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students
• Support student success, including at-risk interventions
• Integrate ICT tools to enhance teaching and learning
• Maintain accurate academic records and meet administrative deadlines
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and academic integrity standards

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Minimum qualification
• A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree (NQF8)

OR

• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)
• Additionally, the undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching
• Areas of work experience
• School teaching experience in Foundation Phase is required

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years Teaching and Learning experience (preferably in school environment).
• Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).
