Junior Accountant

An established accounting firm is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist with smaller audits, financial statement preparation and tax compliance for companies and individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with smaller audit engagements.
• Compile financial statements.
• Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals and companies.
• Assist with general accounting and tax-related duties.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with relevant requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Accounting or finance qualification, or currently studying towards a relevant degree.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Basic knowledge of auditing, financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
