Senior Actuarial Analyst / Actuary

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Actuarial Analyst / Actuary at a Financial Services company based in Sandton! The main purpose of this role is:

• Use actuarial and analytics skills to optimise distribution channel remuneration, analyse churning experience, and align remuneration structures with sustainable business outcomes.

We require a candidate with

• Recently qualified Fellow actuary or nearly qualified status.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in Life Insurance, Investments, or relevant financial services.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SQL database management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with statistical programming (R, Python, VBA) or applying ML/regression models in analytics is highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to translate complex mathematical concepts and data trends into clear, actionable executive communication.
