Main Purpose of the Job
- Assist in attending to plant related defects or breakdowns when required.
- Tacking of work pieces with the aim of assisting the boilermaker to assemble any task at hand.
- Conduct housekeeping after any job completion.
- Assist artisan in filling PM01 job tickets for the workshop.
- Demarcating/ isolating the site, clearing of obstacles and setting up materials required for the task execution.
- Must be able to identify different welding consumables.
- Operate overhead crane and forklift to lift heavy project in the project and plant.
- Physically set up work pieces required for the task.
- Adhere to SHEQ standards and practice.
Qualifications And Experience Required
- Grade 12, Forklift & Overhead crane license will be an advantage
- Experience in the Fabrication Workshop.
- Sober habits, 5S oriented, hard worker.
