Structural Engineer Vacancy

NKP Consulting Engineers seeks to appoint a Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will contribute to structural analysis, design, detailing and project delivery.

Minimum requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience, with an emphasis on water

retaining structures.

• A minimum qualification of B.Tech or B.Eng in Civil Engineering.
• Experience using Revit, Prokon, AutoCAD and Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
• Sound knowledge of structural analysis, design and detailing.
• Professional registration will be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design, and prepare calculations and technical reports.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, models and specifications.
• Coordinate structural work with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.

Remuneration

A market related salary package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
