Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs.
- Build and enhance distributed backend systems and stateless architectures.
- Develop cloud-native, containerised microservices and backend services.
- Work with event-driven architecture and streaming technologies.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 5 years' software development experience.
- Proven experience designing and building distributed backend systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerised environments.
- Strong experience with Python, Linux/Unix, Distributed Systems, API Development & Design, Relational & Non-Relational Databases, Docker & Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS advantageous) & Git
