Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to analyse sales, commercial, customer, and market data to support business decision-making and improve overall performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales team, management, and other stakeholders to identify trends, uncover business opportunities, develop reporting solutions, and provide actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, customer, product, and market data to identify trends, performance gaps, business opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to support sales planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources, ensure data accuracy, automate reporting processes, and present meaningful insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Data Analytics, Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.
• Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to Advanced (Essential): Strong practical knowledge of formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Microsoft Power BI – Intermediate: Ability to develop, maintain, and improve interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
• Experience working with large datasets and consolidating information from multiple sources.
• Experience working with sales, commercial, or market data advantageous.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and business performance monitoring.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Sales teams, management, and stakeholders.

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and meet deadlines.
