Project Manager - Retail & Interior Fit-Outs

Are you an accomplished Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality interior environments? Our client is looking for a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience, ideally in retail and interior fit-outs, to manage projects from concept through to completion. This opportunity would suit someone who can balance design intent with practical construction delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ project management experience, preferably in retail, commercial interiors, or interior fit-outs.
• Education: A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience managing contractors, project budgets, timelines, and on-site delivery.
• Good understanding of construction methods, interior finishes, materials, and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in project scheduling and reporting tools would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out projects from initial planning and design coordination through to final handover.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal design teams.
• Develop project schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee site activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify project risks and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure completed projects meet the required design standards and client expectations.
