Technical Delivery Lead

Our client is seeking a technically strong and delivery-focused Technical Delivery Lead for a 1-year contract in Cape Town. This senior role combines technical leadership, solution oversight and hands-on development, making it ideal for a technology professional who can move confidently between strategy, architecture, delivery and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in software engineering, technology delivery, solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex digital or technology solutions.
• Strong software development and engineering capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies and modern digital platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker and containerisation.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics, reporting systems and data integrations.
• Experience integrating third-party platforms and services.
• Knowledge of secure software development, application security, data protection and technology governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide technical professionals.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
