Contracts Manager

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in civil construction and a proven ability to lead successful projects?

Our client is an established construction company specialising in civil engineering projects. They are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take responsibility for the overall management of projects, ensuring financial, contractual, commercial, SHEQ and operational objectives are achieved. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior construction professional to lead teams, manage complex projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Requirements

• 10–15 years’ experience within the civil construction industry
• Education : Civil Engineering Degree / Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Supervision
• Professionally registered as a Pr.CM and/or Pr.Eng
• Strong experience managing civil construction projects from start-up through to completion
• Proven experience managing Contracts Managers, Site Agents, Engineers and project teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete management of construction projects through Contracts Managers, Site Agents and Engineers
• Ensure effective project start-up, procurement of resources, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Manage project budgets, cost reporting and financial performance to achieve profitability
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
