A Manufacturing entity, based in Alberton is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their team. This role requires someone with a minimum of 4 – 5 years’ experience as a Millwright with solid experience from Foundry / Heavy Duty Industrial or Manufacturing industries. Duties & Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for the maintenance of Machines in the Foundry
• Maintenance of Production Machinery by replacing equipment
• Fault finding on all Machinery to ensure safe running of the plant
• Prevention of Electrical hazards and Mechanical hazards
• Complete jobs according to priority and planned maintenance schedule
• Reading and interpreting Electrical and Mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
• Use knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic circuits and PLC’S to complete tasks in the Plant

Qualifications required

• Millwright Trade Test (Red Seal) - Non negotiable

Skills and experience required

• Minimum of 4 – 5 years’ experience as a Millwright
• Must have 3 – 4 Years experience from Foundry / Heavy Duty Industrial or Manufacturing industries
• Strong mechanical and electrical background and experience
• Must be willing to work extra hours / shifts and responding to call outs and breakdowns

R 550 000 CTC per annum + Shift Allowance
