Compounder/Batch Maker

Do you weigh every raw material as if the whole batch depends on it?

A well-established consumer products manufacturer in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs needs an experienced Compounder. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will weigh and combine raw materials to produce batches that meet specification the first time, in a cGMP facility where accuracy and procedure matter at every step.

What you will own

• Accurate weighing and combining of raw materials as per the Batch Manufacturing Document
• Raw material stock counts and expiry checks
• Operation, cleaning and daily verification of equipment and instruments
• Immediate, accurate batch documentation, checked before submission

What you bring

• Matric or NQF 4 equivalent
• Three years’ experience as a Compounder or in a similar role in a relevant industry
• Well organised and adaptable when production plans change
• Punctual, dependable and precise, and able to lift 25kg

Your technical toolkit

• cGMP and SOP compliance (pharmaceutical cGMP advantageous)
• Balance verification and calibration checks
• Quality Management Systems awareness
