Opportunity exists for a Pharmaceutical Representative in nutritional products designed to support patients before and after surgery. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with excellent marketing and communication skills who enjoys meeting people and developing professional relationships within the medical field. Looking for a confident, well-presented and motivated candidate.

Initially part-time, the role has the potential to grow into a full-time position as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit doctors, surgeons and relevant medical professionals to promote nutritional products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with medical professionals and practices
• Market the products and communicate their benefits effectively.
• Identify opportunities to grow product awareness and develop new business
• Manage regular visits to medical practices, primarily in and around Durban
• Maintain accurate records of visits, contacts and marketing activities
• Be willing to travel to other regions, including Johannesburg and Cape Town, as the business grows

Requirements

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong marketing and relationship-building abilities
• Computer literate, with good administrative skills
• Professional, confident and well-presented
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
• Previous pharmaceutical, medical sales or healthcare marketing experience would be an advantage
• A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle and willingness to travel are essential
