Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on Site

Technical support / Trouble shooting
On the job training
Plant and system upgrades
System maintenance

Experience And Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

Grade 12 or Equivalent
1 years' experience in a production plant
2 years' experience as a general assistant – Maintenance
Advantageous – experience as general assistant

Working Conditions

This role requires the incumbent to operate in the following environments and manage specific physical or operational demands:

Pressurized environment
Shift position and will be required to work weekends and Public Holidays when necessary.
Required to work overtime (after hours) and standby.
Working with and on heavy equipment and plants.
