BI Developer

CCG Systems is an ICT sector and is well known to specialize in the implementation and support of ERP systems as well as Payroll & HR Systems to which our clients are made of mostly Municipalities throughout South Africa. Our company is looking for a potential candidate to join our Data Analytics Team in the capacity of a BI Developer to be based at our Head Office.

The experienced BI Developer will support and work with the Data Analytics Reporting team in building and maintaining various BI dashboards and reports.
This role will primarily focus on reports with a financial and accounting nature, from SAGE X3 and SAGE 200 / 300 systems, providing valuable insights for organisations with regards to financial and operational reporting.

Formal Qualification required

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Alternatively, a Diploma in Business Analytics or Data Analytics with a strong focus on data visualization and analysis.

Legal Requirements

• Valid code B driver’s license
• Passed credit and criminal checks
• S.A Citizen, Resident or Valid S.A Work Permit
  

Experience requried

Advanced experience in data analysis or report creation using Power BI, or similar toolset, through real world experience and engagements.
SQL knowledge is a required, particularly for querying financial data.
Experience working with cloud-based solutions and deliverable distribution mechanisms.
Leadereship and project accountability is a requirement.
General Purpose

Lead with creating and maintaining financial reports and dashboards using various BI toolsets.
Analyse financial data extracted from SAGE X3 and SAGE 200 ERP systems to produce insightful reports for management.
