Omang Marketing and Content Creator

Introduction

Omang puts an AI learning companion in the hands of learners across South Africa, backed by sponsors who want real change in education. Their stories keep the movement growing.

We're looking for a creative self-starter to own Omang's photo and video: capture what happens at events and in classrooms, turn it into content people want to share, and bring back honest feedback.

Position Summary

You'll create Omang's feelings content, run media and tech at events like Omang Us Days, The AI is Coming and Just Plai, and gather feedback from learners, parents, Digital Learning Officers and sponsors. There are fixed monthly deliverables; the rest is yours to drive.

Key Responsibilities

• Film, produce and edit engaging video content featuring learner and sponsor ambassadors for content distribution
• Produce monthly report content and the quarterly report video
• Deliver same-day highlights and sponsor-learner photo prints at Omang Us Days
• Run event tech: TVs, projectors, laptops and presentations
• Design event graphics, speaker visuals and school maps from templates
• Arrange school visits through Digital Learning Officers and gather feedback
• Share insights at the weekly team meeting
• Keep the asset bank organised and backed up
• Respond to and deliver content requests promptly and efficiently

What We're Looking for?

• Video shooting and editing, including interviews and B-roll
• Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop and Lightroom
• Photography, including low light
• AV setup: TVs, projectors, microphones and speakers
• Confident with learners, school staff, parents and sponsors
• Organised, with disciplined file management and backups
• Self-driven and willing to travel
• Port Elizabeth-based with a valid driver's licence
