What We Are Looking For

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Human Resources Intern will be responsible to assist with administration and HR related tasks.

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS

  • Provide administrative support.
  • File documents and respond to clients and employees’ queries.
  • Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for vacancies.
  • Schedule interviews and confirm applicant’s availability.
  • Assist with the onboarding of the new recruits.
  • Organise all business arrangements and visitors’ programmes e.g. meetings, travel, functions, lunch and refreshments, flights, accommodation, etc.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform all other HR related ad-hoc duties.
  • Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/ Quality/ Environmental/ Energy.

What Qualifications You Should Have

  • NQF 6 in Human Resources or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of professionalism.
  • Strong planning, organising and administrative skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and demonstrate good judgement.
  • Fully computer literate (all MS Office packages).
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and office protocol.
