Senior Mine Surveyor

Our client, a hard rock mining operation based in the West Rand side of Gauteng is on the search for a Senior Mine Surveyor with 7 mine surveying experience for hard rock mining operations, a leader to assume responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all spatial data generated from both underground and open-pit mining environments. This individual will functional at a level of a Chief surveyor, managing a team of professional surveyors and technicians, implement advanced surveying technologies, and ensure that all surveys are conducted in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position is critical for accurate mine planning, ore reserve estimation, and operational control. High essential for consideration will include a Degree in Mining, Diploma or degree in surveying or Geomatics, Professional registration with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC), proficiency surveying software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Surpac, Deswik) – Deswik being the most essential.
